Every feature, in one list.
What this demo does today. It runs in the browser with made-up data from Riverside Community Church.
From the project
Built to match what the project asks for.
- Station mode: full screen, big keys, phone or iPad, portrait or landscape
- Find a family by the last 4 digits, by name, or by scanning the app
- Pick which children, assign the room by age, full rooms move the child to the nearest open room
- Guest family quick registration with birth date, allergies and photo consent
- Child labels and a parent tag with the same code, four designs, real print at 2x4 inches
- Pickup with code check and per-child authorized list; "someone else" needs an ID check, a call to a parent and a name
- Rooms: live headcount against capacity, adult ratio, open and close, allergy-first roster
- Families and children: guardians, birthday, allergies, medical notes, photo consent, pickup list, history
- Volunteers: check in and out of a room with safety clearance status (pending or expired cannot serve)
- "Parent needed" text to a pager, with a pager log
- Setup: services, opening windows, rooms, capacity, ratios, age rules
- Attendance log and reports by room, by service, first-time guests, with a real CSV download
- Settings, leader PIN, Director and Volunteer switch, restore demo, undo and toasts
New ideas
Added to surprise: not in the original spec.
- Parent view in a phone frame: pre check-in, QR for the station, pickup code, "I am here", teacher notes
- Pickup lane: a live queue in each room with initials, code and allergies
- Needs attention feed: ratios, full rooms, late children, new guardians, unlisted pickups, expired clearances
- Overflow help: suggests the nearest open room, moves the child and queues a text to the parent
- Teacher notes handed to the parent at pickup
- Timeline for each child: first visit, birthday, promotions, notes
- Promotions and birthdays helper with bulk Promote
- Live service board and a wall display mode
- Four name tag designs that follow the church look
Simulated in this demo
So nobody is surprised.
- Texts to parents and the pager are written to a log. Nothing is sent.
- Printing opens the browser print dialog. No printer is connected.
- The QR is drawn from the code and is not scannable. The station has a "Simulate scan" button.
- Families, children, volunteers and phone numbers are made up.
- Everything is saved in this browser only.
